There were always laughs with you, Wally, and wild stories told with real passion and vigour. Even though we didn't have as many moments together, I've shared countless memories of you through others over the years. You will be definitely be missed by many.

Oh Wals, laughed through the tears when I saw that pic of you standing in front of the beach bar! Two fricking weekends you made us haul stuff out of that shed while you supervised - and you were so happy to crack that first beer. So many memories- parties, pubs, travel and the Clivenwealth Games, deep and meaningfuls at 2 in the morning. Always laughter even when times were hard. Your warmth, kindness and genuine happiness for your friends was always a constant. I am so grateful we got to catch up last year and just hang out. You have left an indelible mark on all our hearts . You taught us to live loud Wals. We will miss you!

Wolly, you made Hailsham feel like home. You were literally the first person I met when moving into the house. Your big smile and genuine warmth made me realise everything was going to be just fine. As a fellow West Australian, your kindness made those homesick days disappear. Thankyou for being an amazing friend. You will be dearly missed, and we will be telling stories about you for years to come.
