I wish I could have been there but I am praying for you from Dover in Tasmania. I am going to miss our chatting on private messager on facebook and talking about family.
To my elder sister Lenni
I want to thank you, for always looking after me, for always being there for our family. Through your actions, you always reminded us of the importance of caring for family, maintaining connections and always respecting our heritage.
The ultimate purpose of our lives, is to leave the world a better place, having lived, and you certainly achieved that!! You made such an impression on so many young people that were fortunate enough to have known you.
Rest easy my wonderful sister, your loving brother Bill and all my descendants.
Deepest sympathy to the family on the passing of a much loved member. Fond memories of (Great) Aunty Lennie as a kind, happy hospitable lady.
Goodbye Grandma / Great Grandma
You always loved us and made us feel so special, never missing a birthday or special event and passing on things that would be of use to us. We were so lucky to have someone as special as you in our lives and we will miss you with all our hearts. Love from Sarah, Peter, Scarlett, Luke and Karl x
My deepest sympathy to all the family.
Lenni was loved, cherished and adored by all her cousins.
A gentle lady full of grace and so generous in her love.
She was such an inspiration to us all.
We were truly blessed to have Lenni in our lives and she will remain forever in our hearts
Lennie was a legend to her Downie relatives in the UK. She was a great communicator which started with our grand-parents, parents and then on to our generation. On the death of our parents, aunts and uncles she effectively became the head of our family too.
She would always try to make contact at Christmas and Birthdays and always seemed so positive and alert. Her memory and knowledge about the family and life in general was amazing and she was always interested and interesting to talk to. We will miss you Lennie -thanks for the friendship.
Our thoughts are with you all as you celebrate the life of Lennie and treasure the memories going forward.
With all our love

Alan and Lyn

G.Ma what can I say. You were not just my G.Ma you were my best friend. You were always there when I needed a shoulder to cry on. I did take the wrong road in my life for a while when I was younger, and you were always there to hold me up and make sure I was ok. Heavan certainly has the best G.Ma. I love you and miss you more than words can say.
Your warmth, your laughter, your strength — they stay with me always.
Thank you for the love you gave so freely.
Until we meet again, you’ll forever live in my heart.

💗Goodbye, my beautiful Grandma💗
A hundred years you graced this world a century of wisdom, grace, and quiet strength.
We were so lucky to have you for so long, and still, it feels far too soon to say goodbye.
You were a light -calm, unwavering, kind.
The most open-hearted soul,
so free of judgment, so full of love. Anyone who had the gift of knowing you walked away a little better, a little warmer, a little more whole.
You were my guide, my grounding star, and I am endlessly proud to call you my grandmother.
Grateful doesn’t begin to hold the weight of what it meant to share this life with you.
I carry joy — joy for every memory, every soft-spoken word, every laugh we shared.
But also sorrow, deep and aching, that I’ll never hear your distinct voice again, never feel your arms around me.
Still, your words echo in my heart, your love stitched into every part of me. I love you beyond measure, and always will.
Goodbye, Grandma.
May you rest in a place as gentle and radiant as the soul you carried here.
Our beautiful Grandma. You gave us laughter, wisdom and a love that made us feel extraordinary, just by being ourselves. Thank you for the gentle lessons, the cheeky comebacks and the quiet strength that shaped our family. Your legacy lives on in our stories, in our hearts and in every cup of tea we've accidentally put too much milk in. Lola wasn't wrong when she thought we called you Great Grandma because you were the greatest of all the Grandmas! We will miss you endlessly but carry you with us always.
With love, Deanna, Gary, Poppy and Lola x
My beautiful Mum. My dearest friend, soul mate and confidant. The bond we shared was so strong and my loss is so great.
You’ve gifted me a lifetime of treasured memories. Your warm smile and unconditional love will always be with me, Mum.
Your loving daughter, Kerry.
